Academic Consulting: Early to Mid-Phase Dissertations

30 or 45 minute sessions (depending on package)

Dissertation Proposals & Dissertations:

  • Research question or thesis - refinement as needed

  • Presentation of chapters, or sections within a chapter (i.e. attention to overall structure and order, section breakdown)

  • Methodology: selection and explanation of your study’s methodology and methods

  • Literature review approach and presentation 

  • Transitions between chapters and sections


Second order concerns & issues:

  • Syntax and grammar

  • APA style feedback*

*This is not comprehensive APA technical editing. Rather, I provide explanations on erroneous formatting via Comments (e.g., in-text citation formatting, heading styles and formatting requirements, etc).

  • Review of content, syntax, reorganization of presentation, sections, or chapters as needed

Consultation on syntax and presentation; review and refine suggested changes and revamps.

Last polish; final review and feedback before a formal submission or presentation.
